HOW Can you and your family grow and serve with us?
Children & youth ministry
We believe that our children are the future of the church and we have been given the commission as parents to disciple them, teach them how to have a real relationship with Jesus and how to practically live this relationship out on a daily basis, led by the Spirit.

We are desperate for one thing, and that is to collectively tap into and be in the presence of the only true source of Life. We want to create a place of worship where people of all generations and walks of life are welcome to come and learn more about, experience and share the life-giving love of our Father, the grace of Jesus Christ and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.
Anyone is welcome, regardless of where you are on your journey. We look forward to meeting you!
We want to be known as a praying church. We dedicate special time during every service to prayer because we believe in its power. We also support the Hermanus Prayer Network, which has prayer initiatives at our local schools and other public institutions. Members are invited for pre-service prayer every Sunday morning at 9.
We believe that worship is a lifestyle. It is our reaction to God's nature - we cannot help but glorify Him with all we have and all we are. In our services we want to create a space for you to worship Him in Spirit and Truth, as Jesus proposed in John 4. Our worship team also reaches out to the rest of our community with informal worship nights and other events. For more information, contact Anneline Hugo. Also let us know if you have a hidden talent of playing the guitar, drums of other instrument!
During the week smaller groups from our congregation meet to study the bible together, pray for each other and just have some fellowship. You can join one of these small groups. Contact us to see where you can slot in!
Ministry to the homeless
We value our Hermanus homeless friends, because God is their Father too. We are called to express God’s love for them by telling them about His priceless gift of eternal life through the sacrifice of His Son and also to provide in their physical needs of food, clothing, shoes, encouragement, and shelter. God’s Word is very clear about His desire for us to take care of the widows and the orphans and the vulnerable, the homeless, the strangers in our communities. (Read Matt. 25:31-46). You are invited to come and join us in this important and enriching interaction with our homeless friends.
This group of church leaders meet on a monthly basis, pray together, encourage one another and share the vision that God plants in their hearts for Hermanus as a collective. As a fellowship we strongly support this unity. Contact us if you would like to obtain more information.
The ministry team travels to Helderstroom Maximum Prison every Wednesday morning to study the Bible with a group of prison inmates who expressed the desire to attend the Bible School classes. This outreach is part of a Korean Mission that seeks to establish Bibel Schools all over South Africa and is lead by Pastor Kyounghoan (Johan) Kim. The study group varies from 12 to 20 men. Most of them have already accepted the Lord as their personal Saviour, but not all. They attend the classes as faithfully as their programs allow and it is clear that they are hungry for the Lord and for the Word.
